At an altitude of 1,603 meters above sea level, on a granite peak, meteorological measurements have been conducted for over 200 years. The crowning achievement of this tradition is the Tadeusz Hołdys High-Mountain Meteorological Observatory.
Its distinctive, modernist form—resembling spacecraft—has become an icon of Polish functional architecture and a symbol of humanity’s struggle against the forces of mountain nature.
Today, the observatory serves as the inspiration for an advanced security hologram that captures this remarkable story within just a few square centimeters of surface.

The hologram contains eight integrated security effects, some of which are visible only with specialized tools:
Microtext – height: 70 μm
Kinematic effect – visible in the background, shifting dynamically with the angle of view to create a rainbow motion
Nanotext – height: 20 μm, visible under a microscope
Achromatic effect + cryptogram – hidden in the white element is the Holografia Polska signet, visible only under a laser beam
2D/3D depth effect – graphic elements embedded into the background
Monochromatic embossing effect – relief structure simulating the rocks beneath the building
Monochromatic kinematic effect – shimmering details on the observatory’s surface
Animation effect – creates an impression of movement
